In the event of a cancellation, a full session fee will be charged if less than 24 hour’s notice of session is given, for cancellations please call 01485 520346 opt 3 or email email@example.com.
Late arrivals, if clients are more than 15 minutes late of their appointment time they will not be able to attend their session, or their session may be shortened in order to allow sufficient time to treat our next client, the cost of the full session will still be charged.
Refunds will not be given for any unused sessions, paid for in advance or as part of a course, a credit note may be issued.
Full payment is required at the time of treatment, unless block bookings have been made, these must be paid for in advance.
Insurance claims, we are happy to complete insurance claims for our clients, all sessions must be paid in full by client or insurance company before any treatment is given.
All payments are to be made in the form of cash or card payment
Please note that patients should not be fed for at least 2 hours before a session and to and not to be fed within 2 hours afterwards. For deep chested, giant breeds and breeds that have a higher risk of GDV, we recommend that the patient is not fed within 3 hours before and after.
Clients must inform the hydrotherapist of any new medication or supplements have been prescribed after the initial assessment and veterinary referral has been signed.
Clients must inform hydrotherapist of any behavioural changes, unusual lameness and stiffness, injury or condition worsens.
Treatment will be stopped or suspended if veterinary surgeon has advised to do so.
All dogs must be kept on-lead and under control when on the premises and not undergoing treatment.
Patients will only be treated without the prior consent of their veterinary surgeon using our referral form we cannot accept referral forms from another centre.
K9 Splash Hydrotherapy reserve the right to contact the dog’s veterinary surgeon with any concerns regarding the dog’s treatment and wellbeing.
K9 Splash Hydrotherapy reserves the right to share client’s information and patients progress records with only your referring surgeon and other members within the MDT of your pet.
We will request an updated referral form from your veterinary surgeon every 12 months.
Please inform us if your bitch comes into season, if they do we will be unable to treat the patient for the length of their season.
Clients should ensure that their pet has toileted before a session. defecation accidents in treadmill or pool will incur an additional charge, we recommend arriving earlier to walk your pet on the lead down the side of our premises to toilet, please remember to scoop and bag any poop.
K9 Splash Hydrotherapy reserve the right to refuse treatment to any patient.
Patients with infectious or contagious conditions (including eye, ear or skin infections, vomiting, diarrhoea, kennel cough) should not attend their session. Please inform us as soon as the dog is unwell. Cancellations fees may apply.
K9 Splash Hydrotherapy reserve the right to use of videos and photos to be taken while in a session. Owners are not permitted to take any photos or videos while on premises unless you have consent from K9 Splash Hydrotherapy. Footage and photos taken from a session may be used on our social media pages (this will not be done unless we have your signed consent).
K9 Splash Hydrotherapy does not accept any responsibility for any loss or injury, to client, patient or property, that occurs when outside of K9 Splash Hydrotherapy control.
To minimise accidents and the distraction of patients, children under 14 are not permitted in the treatment centre.
We recommend that the client wears non-slip footwear and waterproof clothing
K9 Splash Hydrotherapy reserve the right to ask a client to leave the premises whilst treatment is in progress if we feel that it is to be distracting or will have a detrimental impact on the patient’s rehabilitation.
Vehicles and contents are parked at owner’s risk.
K9 Splash Hydrotherapy may make recommendations to seek alternative or complimentary treatments, this is down to client discretion and we cannot accept any responsibility for losses, damages or injury caused by this. We will do this purely for the welfare and rehabilitation of a patient and for no other reason.
By signing the referral form you also give K9 Splash Hydrotherapy permission to keep the client and patients details on record.
By signing the veterinary referral form you are accepting and agreeing the above-mentioned terms and conditions of k9 Splash Hydrotherapy.
